Let\u2019s rewind the story of Absolution: when I launched Absolution in September 2009, I unveiled a limited range of 8 products<\/strong>: L\u2019Eau Soir et Matin<\/span><\/a> cleansing water, La Cr\u00e8me du Jour<\/span> day cream (which became La Cr\u00e8me Beau Jour<\/span><\/a>), La Cr\u00e8me du Soir<\/span><\/a> night cream, La Cr\u00e8me de L\u2019Homme<\/strong><\/span> \u201cmen\u2019s\u201d cream, and 4 boosters (serums) dedicated to specific skin moods<\/strong>. Most of them are still part of your daily routine; some have had their formulations optimized<\/strong>, while others have had their name and\/or packaging changed. <\/strong>But some of them are now history, and La Cr\u00e8me de L\u2019Homme is one of them.<\/p>\n

Firstly, for the sake of coherence<\/strong>: as you know, all our products provide benefits regardless of age<\/strong>, gender<\/strong>, or skin type<\/strong>. It was therefore always necessary to explain why we had a product dedicated to men when our other creams could perfectly suit them.\u00a0The reason is that there wasn\u2019t really one<\/strong>, except that 15 years ago, the market was more segmented<\/strong>, and some men might have hesitated to use a non-gendered product.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second reason is related to thoughtful production <\/strong>: our aim has always been to develop a range of highly effective<\/strong>, ultra-pleasant<\/strong> skincare products with excellent value for money<\/strong>, to grow the company in a healthy<\/strong> and fair<\/strong> way. This also involves careful management of our production and investments. Continuing to produce a product that “works” but is no longer necessary in the range was no longer justifiable with respect to our values<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So, La Cr\u00e8me de L\u2019Homme is leaving us after 15 years of good and loyal service<\/strong>, and we are pleased to recommend to men La Cr\u00e8me Beau Jour<\/span><\/a> (antioxidant), La Cr\u00e8me de Sant\u00e9<\/span><\/a> (balancing), La Cr\u00e8me Riche<\/span><\/a> (nourishing), or La Cr\u00e8me<\/span> du Temps<\/span><\/a> (pro-age) to continue taking care of their skin!<\/p>\n
