Can you introduce yourself briefly?<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

Hello Beauty Therapy!\u00a0My name is Yamin Alma, I’m a singer\/songwriter\/multi-instrumentalist,\u00a0 born\u00a0and raised in France.\u00a0I have always been a performer, really\u00a0since the age of three\u00a0when my parents decided my education would be through the\u00a0Music Conservatory.\u00a0In 2013, I moved to London for a few years while working on my first album “Into\u00a0The\u00a0Blue”.\u00a0The\u00a0past\u00a0couple of\u00a0years have been a\u00a0whirl-wind\u00a0of traveling, life-changing experiences and lots of inspiration. Amidst all this, I released a 5 track EP called \u201cLove Ascension\u201d,\u00a0and\u00a0am\u00a0currently working on my next EP and a few other projects. For now, I have\u00a0settled\u00a0back in the South France pre-pandemic to renovate an old family property and bring new life to a treasure\u00a0that was once my grandfathers and\u00a0great-grandfathers.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n\n

Can you tell us about the last time Beauty helped you or healed you?\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n

In 2018, I went through a severe depression and one night, at my country house in France\u00a0(the one I am currently renovating), a\u00a0small\u00a0hungry and scared\u00a0fox came up to me;\u00a0I gave him some figs\u00a0from our tree. At that moment, we began to have a relationship, he would\u00a0come back every evening like my little fairy friend. Through\u00a0this\u00a0blossoming\u00a0new\u00a0connection,\u00a0I felt\u00a0closer\u00a0to\u00a0Nature and more human.\u00a0He and I were learning to trust each other without fears and unknowns holding us back.\u00a0It has been\u00a0two\u00a0years now and he still pays me a visit every\u00a0day, and\u00a0sometimes\u00a0even\u00a0falling asleep by my side.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n

How do you bring more Beauty to the world?\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n

As a musician, I bring beauty to the world through music.\u00a0Every time I get on stage, I try to be as sincere as I can with my crowd, giving\u00a0all\u00a0I have,\u00a0wherever it may\u00a0be;\u00a0whether\u00a0a small coffee or a festival.\u00a0Performing is putting yourself in an extreme place of vulnerability, you\u00a0have to\u00a0stand and play in front of people without fear of judgements.\u00a0You\u00a0have to\u00a0show yourself, reveal parts of yourself, face all the faces and just share. For me,\u00a0I use this as a place to\u00a0support and project\u00a0love most\u00a0of the times.\u00a0I find this\u00a0exchange\u00a0very inspiring.\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/section>\n\n
