L’\u00e9volution des formes des lampes est autant li\u00e9e \u00e0 celle des techniques qu\u2019\u00e0 la charge symbolique qu\u2019elles portent. Le soin apport\u00e9 au d\u00e9tail, la mani\u00e8re dont elles sont trait\u00e9es, leur langage indirect, exprime notre rapport au sens cach\u00e9 de la lumi\u00e8re. <\/p>\n

Torches, lampes \u00e0 huile, phares, s\u00e9maphores, incandescences et d\u00e9sormais la Led. <\/p>\n

Utiliser une lampe c\u2019est reproduire une partie de la lumi\u00e8re cosmique qui nous relie au feu primordial. <\/p>\n

Comment faire na\u00eetre la lumi\u00e8re dans l’obscurit\u00e9, celle qui nous permet de voir, et par quel moyen porter sa source pour l’amener \u00e0 \u00e9clairer ? <\/p>\n

La lampe c’est la conscience, l’espoir, symbole de comm\u00e9moration. <\/p>\n

\u00c9glise, synagogue, mosqu\u00e9e ou lumi\u00e8re dans la for\u00eat. <\/p>\n

Les premi\u00e8res lampes \u00e0 huile repr\u00e9sentent le corps du nouveau-n\u00e9 avec au c\u0153ur le fluide et la flamme qui en jaillit : son \u00e2me, L’esprit divin qui br\u00fble en lui. <\/p>\n

Plus r\u00e9cemment, dans une \u00e9conomie de moyens remarquable, Jean Prouv\u00e9, Achille Castiglioni ou Gino Sarfatti ont su apporter \u00e0 l’ampoule \u00e9lectrique une dimension symbolique et humble en la mettant \u00e0 nu, recr\u00e9ant un lien inconscient chez l\u2019utilisateur avec ce miracle essentiel d\u00e9pourvu d\u2019emphase. <\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\n\n

Les lampes d’atelier (Gras, Jielde) nous rappellent un monde disparu et sculptent l\u2019espace par leurs bras articul\u00e9s et leurs diffuseurs fonctionnalistes. <\/p>\n

Les lampes d\u2019ext\u00e9rieur sont les gardiens du temple, les s\u00e9maphores nous rassurent en m\u00eame temps qu\u2019ils nous \u00e9clairent. Chez Noguchi, la lampe devient veilleur du foyer. Selon lui, \u201cla magie du papier retransforme l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 froide en la lumi\u00e8re originelle – le soleil – afin que sa chaleur puisse continuer \u00e0 remplir nos chambres la nuit\u201d. . <\/p>\n

Les cr\u00e9ations lumineuses d\u2019Ingo Maurer innovent sont des innovations technologiques et po\u00e9tiques. Comme la montre bracelet qui contient le mouvement du temps, ses lampes sont des portes pour l\u2019esprit qui s\u2019ouvrent sur d\u2019autres strates de conscience. Enfin, avec Jasper Morrison ou Konstantin Grcic, les LED reproduisent de disque solaire ou lunaire et l’invoquent jusque dans le foyer. La boucle est boucl\u00e9e. <\/p>\n

Loin de ces approches sensibles qui r\u00e9-inventent l\u2019objet sans le d\u00e9connecter de sa symbolique, la plupart des lampes actuelles projettent une image d\u00e9co, high tech bon march\u00e9, sophistiqu\u00e9e qui renvoie l\u2019image d\u2019un monde lisse et pr\u00e9fabriqu\u00e9. <\/p>\n

Par la richesse de ses ingr\u00e9dient la lampe est un t\u00e9moignage de notre \u00e9poque et de nos croyances. <\/p>\n

Through design, he wants to create objects that free the mind. This wish goes through the work of material and finding innovative solutions that he develops in order to perpetuate the history of the brands which he chooses to work with. Those projects thought as a whole, consider the history behind brands and the people who bring them to life while keeping the industrial constraints in mind, creating a real quest of excellence. Whether it's a bicycle designed for the Olympic Games, an oceanographic cage that goes at 4000m deep, or furniture, he gives each of these projects essential importance and thus creates objects that are functional, perennial and timeless.
