Are You Ready to Open Your Third Eye & Reduce Face Wrinkles?

Nearly every doctor says that stress is one of the main causes that increases the chances of wrinkles forming.

Did you know that stress is one of the leading causes of wrinkles?

Let’s breakdown quickly, what is happening when stress is created in the body; stress releases a hormone called cortisol, cortisol is known to breakdown collagen, which we know is the protein inside ourselves that supports healthy, young elastic skin, thus when stress levels are high, collagen levels decrease and voila wrinkles arrive.

Let us be clear wrinkles are not a bad thing!

“Who would want a face that hasn’t seen or lived properly, hasn’t got any wrinkles that come with age, experience and laughter? Not me, anyway.” – Cate Blanchett

This is not to say, wrinkles are a bad, or negative thing because in actually they are not. They are our accumulation of experiences and adventures in one’s lifetime, they could even be considered our gold medals as we get older. Wrinkles can give us character and enhance our beauty as we mature through our lifetime. However, wrinkles can be indicators of lots of smiling or lots of stress and pressure that we put on ourselves. Of course, one’s life has ups and downs and it is important to honor both sides of the coin, however we want to be conscious enough to understand when we ourselves are putting unnecessary stress, anxiety, and pressure on ourselves which in returns is releasing the stress hormone cortisol when in reality it is not needed and only damaging our inner and outer system.

Many have said something along these lines: “We only fear or stress when we think to the past or the future, but if we sit in the present there is nothing to fear or stress about”. (Of course if someone is in imminent danger in the present moment this does not apply) However, for most of us, the stress and fear we create is truly when we are thinking of our past or our future, both which no longer or do not exist yet and thus we are cultivating an unnecessary stress on ourselves that does not need to happen with we slow down, breath and come back to the now. This leads me into the connection between wrinkles, stress and the Anja the Third Eye Chakra.

Can you imagine that tuning into your Third Eye can reduce wrinkles and stress?

Now, what does connecting your Third Eye (Anja Chakra) have to do with this topic, well the Third Eye literally sits between your eyebrows, directly aligned with your eyes and forehead, which are the areas prone to forehead wrinkle lines, crows foot wrinkle eyes, bunny lines, frown lines and tear through lines… all of these wrinkles can be softened by awakening your Third Eye. When the Third Eye is active, it will support you in letting go of mental congestion, releasing mental stress, calming your thoughts, being more conscious to make space between you and your thoughts. The Third Eye supports you in staying in the present moment. Connecting to the subtle energies that allow you to feel supported, safe and understand that all will be well and all will ultimately be as it is needed. This mighty power allows your physical body to be at a deeper sense of peace, a purer understanding of the physical existence and the experiences we have gone through, we are in and the ones to come. With this knowledge we can then begin to live with a little or a lot less stress, we can create and maintain space between ourselves and our thoughts. We can be free from unnecessary drama that can easily consumes one’s energy and life.

When the Third Eye is open, active, and nourishing you, you will naturally have a deeper connection with your intuition and beautiful imagination which will entail allow less unnecessary questioning thoughts to come into your mind, creating a deep state of mind peace. When your mind is at peace and the Third Eye is guiding you, less cortisol will be released and your collagen will strengthen, supporting you to prevent the wrinkle affect from taking place.

Here you can find a few ways Absolution Cosmetics is supporting you in activating your Third Eye and preventing face wrinkles:

Three simple ways to nourish your Third Eye Anja Chakra in less than 5minutes:

  1. Rest in Childs Pose: everyday take 3-5min and let yourself sink into the yoga posture called Childs Pose in Sanskrit known as Bālāsana. This easy position allows your Anja (Third Eye) to rest on the ground, connecting to the Earths energy, soothing it. You can rest with your arms stretching forward and hands facing the earth for a more active posture, or you can rest with your arms by-your-side, stretching backwards with the palms facing the sky this is a more passive pose. Lastly if you feel like integrating a little movement, you can gentle shake your head as if you’re saying “no” this will softly massage the Third Eye.

  1. Sing the Mantra “Om”: everyday tune into your Third Eye Chakra by the way of resonance. Every Chakra has a Mantra associated with it and the Anja aligns with the Mantra “Om”. Very simple, and easily chanted. This resonance connects with the vibration and sound of the Universe, allowing you to align yourself with this almighty power. Use your intuition to know many times to chant the “Om” out loud, it could be one long “Om” or 100.

  1. Sun Gazing: whether it is with the dawning sun or dusking sun, take a few moments and with a soft gaze look at the divine power of the sun rays. Only for a few moments of course, but this brief sun gazing moment will activate the light energy within your Anja and restore it with new energy and deep healing sensations.
