Isabelle Carron’s 12-Flavor Salad

When the press tells our story, a different kind of beauty unfolds.

M Le Magazine du Monde chose to highlight Isabelle and the birth of Absolution in its March 29, 2025 edition. A meaningful encounter for us, an independent and committed brand since 2009.

Isabelle’s journey

Fifteen years ago, Isabelle Carron made a life-changing decision: to leave the world of communication and design in order to bring deeper meaning to her work.
From a young age, she was drawn to nature, health, and natural beauty — values that led her to create Absolution in 2009 with a strong conviction: the skin is alive, and it deserves to be listened to, supported, but never forced.

Far from doing “organic” just to look good, tick boxes, or meet minimum standards, our approach reflects a true vision of holistic care — demanding, artistic, and deeply intentional.
A form of skincare rooted in the wonderful complexity of formulas, the power of plants, and respect for all living things.

Skincare that’s free, vibrant, and sensorial

At Absolution, we’ve always chosen to follow our own rhythm — not to get lost in trends or demands.
Our formulas are 99.9% to 100% natural in origin, our packaging is thoughtfully designed, and our identity is a statement in itself: beauty doesn’t need to be green to be committed, nor loud to exist.

The article published in M Le Magazine du Monde shed light on this singularity with great accuracy.

It speaks about our commitments: never using synthetic fragrance, refusing to compromise, creating less but better.
It speaks about our sensitive approach to skincare, our desire to offer products that are adaptable, modular — almost intuitive.
And it speaks about you, too — those who choose us not to follow a trend, but because, one day, something in our way of doing things simply resonated with yours.

Skincare to food: embracing care as a lifestyle

Taking care of your skin also means taking care of yourself, of what you eat, what you think, and what you breathe.
Isabelle highlights the connection between the benefits of food and body care.
In this article, she shares a recipe she loves to prepare: vibrant, colorful, rich in textures and nutrients.

Isabelle Carron’s recipe

A generous bowl to be freely composed, just like a personalized skincare formula.

For 6 people

Start with the base:

  • 3 cups of cooked quinoa
  • 1 grated green mango
  • 2 grated carrots
  • About 12 cherry tomatoes, quartered (or sun-dried tomatoes when out of season)
  • 4 sprigs of mint, finely chopped
  • 6 to 8 sprigs of fresh coriander
  • 80 g of unsalted peanuts, lightly toasted and crushed

Optional ingredients (to bring the total to 12 – at least 5 more on top of the base):

  • Grated green papaya
  • Arugula, baby spinach
  • Cooked green peas or edamame
  • Diced endive or cucumber
  • Fresh bean sprouts, thinly sliced radishes
  • Diced apple
  • Citrus segments (orange, grapefruit, mandarin…)
  • Diced avocado
  • Thinly sliced celery stalk
  • Raw cauliflower florets
  • Crushed cashews

Dressing:

  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp nuoc-mâm (fish sauce)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • Zest and juice of 1 lime
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp tamari soy sauce
  • ¾ of a red chili, deseeded, or 2 pinches of chili flakes

Recipe preparation

Whisk together the dressing ingredients until smooth and well combined.

In a large bowl, combine the base ingredients with the optional ones you’ve chosen.

Add the dressing and gently toss to coat.

Serve mindfully. And enjoy — fully.

Thank you to Le Monde’s magazine for this thoughtful perspective.

Being featured in the pages of M Le Monde is like holding up a mirror — not to admire ourselves, but to realign.
It reminds us why we do what we do.
And it makes us want to keep going, more than ever, creating skincare that is sincere, sensorial, demanding, and kind.
