Lemonade cubes to keep your summer cool (and your glow radiant).

Want the most refreshing drink of the season, without squeezing lemons every time? Just freeze a homemade lemonade concentrate in ice cube trays, and pop one out whenever the craving strikes.

There’s nothing quite like homemade lemonade on a warm day. Hydrating, packed with antioxidants and vitamins, it also helps purify and brighten your complexion from within.

And the best part? You’re in charge. Adjust the sweetness, play with flavors—mint, ginger, basil, red berries, even a pinch of chili if you’re feeling bold.

You’ll need:

 – Organic lemons or limes

 – Sparkling water

 – Agave syrup or honey

Optional twists (but highly recommended)

 – A piece of fresh ginger

 – Fresh mint

 – Fresh basil

 – Rose water

 – Orange blossom water

 – A pinch of chili powder

How to:

Using a juicer or blender, process the lemons whole—skin included. Make a generous batch (about 2 kg) so you’ll have enough to last through the season.

If you want to infuse with herbs or ginger, set aside most of the juice, and use the last 3 lemons to blend with your chosen flavors. Combine it all, and pour into ice cube trays.

You can add a spoonful of the infused juice to each cube for an extra kick. Freeze for a few hours.

To serve:

In a glass

 – 2–3 small lemonade cubes (or one large)

 – 1 tsp agave syrup

 – Sparkling water

 – A few plain ice cubes

Stir, sip, and enjoy the moment.

In a carafe

 – 3 large cubes

 – 5 tbsp agave syrup or honey

 – Sparkling water

 – Stir and serve immediately

These lemonade cubes also make the perfect base for summer cocktails or mocktails—just add your favorite spirit (with or without alcohol). We love the alcohol-free options from JNPR. A handful of mint leaves, a few ice cubes, a shake, and voilà.

Summer mocktail

 – 1 large lemonade cube

 – 1 shot of JNPR non-alcoholic spirit

 – 1 sprig of fresh mint

 – 1 lemon slice

 – 1 tbsp agave syrup

 – Ice cubes

 – Sparkling water

 – A shaker

Pour everything into the shaker with a handful of ice, shake with joy, and serve with a sprig of mint or a slice of lemon.
