Cocooning, hygge: what do these words mean exactly?

In France, the English word “cocooning” is frequently used to describe having some me-time at home and relaxing in a warm, pleasant atmosphere.

Inspired by the Danish lifestyle, the term “hygge” describes a feeling of calm and comfort.
