How to fade marks and scars left by spots

How to reduce redness and scars from spots

Some spots leave marks behind that seem determined to stay! Whether you have red marks, scars or dark spots on your face, they’re not always easy to live with. But there are some natural solutions that will visibly reduce scars and redness from spots.

Natural skincare solutions to get rid of redness and scars from spots

You probably already know that there are various “intense” treatments, such as chemical peels and dermabrasion, which remove the upper layer of the epidermis by using an acid or an abrasive device to reveal clearer skin. But while the results may be impressive, these solutions can be very harsh on the skin! They also weaken it, leaving it more vulnerable to environmental aggressors.

Everything you need to detoxify your skin!

To get rid of redness or scars left by spots without weakening the skin, try harnessing the repairing and regenerating properties of plants. Take Propolis, for example. This plant-based resin collected by bees is known to contain active ingredients that promote skin healing. There’s also Tepezcohuite – which is much less well known in the West. This plant was used by the Mayans to treat skin lesions. You’ll find both these ingredients in our anti-blemish serum, Le Booster PURETÉ. In addition, you could also use an anti-redness face mask that purifies, brightens and cares for the skin. Le Masque Pureté Détoxifiant is an organic face mask that contains antioxidant Yerba Maté, Birch Sap, rich in healing tannins, and deep-cleansing White Clay.

How to avoid redness and scars from spots

As the saying goes, prevention is better than cure! So if you want to prevent acne scars or red marks from appearing after squeezing a spot, the first thing you need to do is strengthen your skin. The best way to do this is to adopt a skincare routine that’s suitable for your skin and that will deeply nourish and moisturize it, but purify it too (in the case of blemish-prone skin), to help prevent spots from forming.

Look for potent moisturizing ingredients, such as Aloe Vera, which is used in several Absolution products, and purifying Tea Tree essential oil, which you’ll find in Le Savon Noir and Le Sérum Anti-Soif.

Last but not least, don’t forget to protect your skin from the sun! If your skin is slightly damaged, or if a spot has made it more sensitive, it will produce more melanin to protect itself against UV rays. This in turn will lead to dark spots, which can be difficult to remove.
