Isabelle Carron Shares Her Favorite Parisian Spots
We wanted to discover the go-to places of our founder, so we knocked on her door to ask her about her must-visit spots in Paris. From her favorite lunch restaurants to her favorite bookstores, not to mention the best second-hand boutiques, she shares everything with sincerity.

What do you like to drink in the morning, and where?
Right now, I’m doing a Santarome Birch Sap cleanse! I start my day with this drink, followed by a glass of vegetable juice made with my amazing Kuvings juicer—I alternate between green juice (celery, cucumber, ½ apple, mint, ½ lemon, ginger, and turmeric) and red juice (beetroot, carrots, ½ lemon, ginger, and turmeric). And finally… lots of coffee, all brought to me in bed by my darling!
What are your favorite breakfast spots?
don’t eat breakfast because I have dinner very—too—late at night.

If you had to choose your three favorite lunch spots, which would they be?
1.Le Chardon, close to our boutique, at 27 rue Bouchardon (10th arrondissement). A charming bistro that serves only fresh products and well-executed French cuisine! https://www.instagram.com/p/CqlRM7grbxB/?hl=en
2. Le Petit Pékin, At 162 avenue Parmentier (11th arrondissement), perfect for a little trip to Asia, with homemade dumplings and delicious noodle soups.
3. Le Pristine, At 8 rue de Maubeuge (9th arrondissement). More sophisticated, this bistronomic restaurant is as chic in its decor as it is on the plate.. https://www.instagram.com/p/C_zymB7AGdS/?hl=en
Where do you like to go for an indulgent afternoon treat?
Just like breakfast—I never have one! However, my team loves grabbing a matcha or a coffee at Boem, a café that recently opened literally 5 meters from our boutique. Barny, the owner, is lovely, and they also have a beautiful selection of tableware for gifts (or for yourself!).

Which Parisian neighborhoods do you enjoy walking around on weekends?
To be honest, I don’t really go for strolls. On weekends, I either visit an exhibition and wander around the area, or I’m running around everywhere—but never shopping. However, I step into almost every bookstore I come across! The hardest part is leaving empty-handed…
Is there a bookstore you particularly love?
That’s a tough question! First, I’d mention my office neighbors, Artazart, at 83 quai de Valmy (10th arrondissement), where you can find press publications, temporary exhibitions, design books, and my favorites… cookbooks and home decor books!
I also love:
Librairie Les Nouveautés (45 bis rue du Faubourg du Temple, 10th arrondissement) for its feminist literature section.
Librairie du Canal (3 rue Eugène Varlin, 10th arrondissement) for its great team.
Librairie Le Pied à Terre (9 rue Custine, 18th arrondissement), for its thoughtful book selections, which I often share.

What place in Paris makes you feel at home?
My home!
Where do you like to relax?
n nature, especially in Brittany! On a completely different note, I also love going to the sauna.
What’s the best facial treatment in Paris?
That’s an easy question: the Absolution treatment, of course, at 30 rue des Vinaigriers (10th arrondissement).

Where do you like to shop for clothes?
I buy a lot of second-hand pieces on Vestiaire Collective (Vinted disappoints me—bad photos and mostly fast fashion).
I also hunt for vintage at Love & Dress, 51 rue Condorcet (9th arrondissement). Link
That said, I’d love to have the budget to shop at INDRESS, 74 rue Charlot (3rd arrondissement). This Dutch brand, founded by Wies Schulte, offers beautiful blouses and flowy dresses in sophisticated colors. Link
A favorite cinema?
Le Louxor! It’s such a luxury to decide on a movie 5 minutes before it starts. Their selection is excellent, and if they don’t have the film I want to see, I head to MK2 Quai de Loire or Quai de Seine.

What’s your top pick for a refined dinner?
I have wonderful memories of a dinner at Le Maquis, 53 rue des Cloys (18th arrondissement). The refinement was on the plate—not in the decor—but the food was absolutely delicious! Link
And for an exotic dining experience?
Shinjuku Pigalle, a cozy yet slightly chaotic Japanese restaurant serving traditional Japanese cuisine: delicious Tonkatsu, Okonomiyaki, and one of my favorite dishes—Unagi (smoked eel)! Link
